Blending beauty with science, this unique non-invasive, non-ablative therapy delivers a highly effective treatment that tightens the skin’s tissues – helping to contour and sculpt, diminishing fine lines, wrinkles, and rejuvenate the skin.
This treatment is non-ablative, meaning that it acts on the middle and lower layers of skin without damaging the surface. We simply roll a wand firmly across the skin to deliver controlled and even amounts of radiofrequency energy for safe and effective results.
Benefits to all areas are skin tightening, toning, smoothing and rejuvenation of skin tissue and results can be seen immediately, often improving over time.
The use of radio frequency in medical practice is not new and has been used for many years, resting on the principle of the modification of deeper skin layers through heat. Radio frequency has the ability to heat up deep layers of the skin and underlying tissue, causing deep collagen structures in the skin to immediately tighten.
This improves the existing collagen and promotes new collagen production to further tighten the skin, resulting in healthier, smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.
I love this time of year and I have been celebrating by having a huge clear-out at home. It feels so cathartic, and when my house is organised and tidy, I definitely feel more in control of my crazily busy life.
I’ve filled eight bin bags with shoes and outfits that I don’t wear any more, and sent them to the local charity shop. I’ve also filled a skip with other old stuff that was just cluttering up the house.
The girls’ bedrooms didn’t escape, either, and many of the clothes they’ve grown out of have been given to friends and their old nanny, who’s now a mummy herself. But I’ve still kept a few of Hollie’s little dresses.
I don’t know why, as I’m definitely not having any more babies, but I couldn’t bring myself to chuck them out. My gorgeous friend Sarah Parish revealed a couple of weeks ago that she’s had a £3,500 non-invasive face lift to look younger on camera and get rid of her “jowls” (her words not mine!), and I can’t wait to find out more about it from her.
I’m always keen to try new anti-ageing treatments! I swear by a fortnightly collagen wave facial, where radio frequency and ultrasound waves heat up my skin to encourage it to produce new collagen.
A lovely lady called Nilam Patel comes to my house to do it, and my skin feels tightened and glows afterwards. Apparently, Kylie and Mel B have also given the facial a thumbs-up.
I’m a fan of various creams and potions, too, and lots of water (and wine!), but really I think it’s down to genetics. I’m up for anything, though nothing invasive. It’s well known that women in showbiz come under much more pressure not to age than men, and of course it’s not fair, but sadly that’s just the way it is. But what really annoys me is when people assume I look after my skin and have treatments just to bow to that pressure.
The truth is, when I look my best, I feel confident and work better. I wouldn’t dream of going on TV, being seen by millions of people, with tired skin and no slap!
