Love Plasma

Plasma Technology is Innovative

This professional only treatment does not involve a laser or scalpel to remove excess skin – instead it uses the power of plasma to tighten and rejuvenate.

Plasma is formed through ionisation of atmospheric gases to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of the skin. Also known as ‘Fibroblasting” this non-surgical procedure is highly effective in smoothing wrinkles, tightening skin and plumping lines, as well as being an alternative to surgical Blepharoplasty (the plastic surgery operation for correcting the eyelids; hooded eyes and for aesthetically modifying the eye region of the face.)

Specifically designed to dramatically enhance looks without cutting, burning or removing excess skin or fat, plasma is a great substitute for traditional surgical treatments, and an essential addition to your medical, aesthetic or beauty clinic.

Plasma Facial & Body Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation with plasma is an exciting offering. Plasma can give your clientele amazing results, only normally achieved by surgery. It is a viable alternative to botox and fillers, without using injectables.

Hyperpigmentation and discolouration from photo damage can be reversed (Fitzpatrick scale 3 and below), fine lines and wrinkles reduce dramatically, and the skins overall appearance is more youthful.

Not only can plasma be used for eye/eyelid corrections, hooded eyes, neck lifts and mini face lifts, it can also be used on other areas of the body, battling loose stomach skin and stretch marks. Minor skin lesions like skin tags are easily removed. Results are accurate and fast and long lasting, with clients being able to expect maintained results for up to 3 years.

How does Plasma work?

Plasma treatments work on the principle of ionized gas in the air. At the right distance from the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed, and the electrostatic energy produces the plasmatic effusion or arc, which discharges on the skin.

Without actually touching the skin, this plasma arc vaporises the skin forcing it to contract and stimulates fibroblasts – the cells responsible for the production of collagen.

Small carbon crusts form on the skin, resembling dots, which slough away over the coming days to reveal regenerated skin.

This micro trauma and stimulation is the key to the treatments results.

Fibroblasts and micro trauma

The micro trauma caused by plasma stimulates Fibroblasts, existing collagen and elastin in the skin and promotes the production of new skin cells which will help to strengthen, plump and tighten the skin.

New cell production continues for several weeks after a session. This helps to refine fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the overall complexion of the skin.

Fibroblasts are critical in supporting healing functions of the skin, and involved in key processes such as creating new extra cellular matrix (ECM) and collagen.

What can clients expect from Plasma treatment?

The results from this treatment are dramatic and long lasting, so usually a single treatment is enough to achieve the results your clients will want.

However, if your clients want a stronger result then the procedure can be repeated after 3 months. Because of its permanency repeat treatments are only required further as your client genetically ages.

What can clients expect from Plasma treatment?

The treatment itself is really straight forward, there is no need for a medical professional to be present.

To ensure client comfort a local anaesthetic cream can be applied before commencing the procedure. Your clients can expect a small degree of swelling when treating the eye area, which usually resolves quickly within 3 or 4 days.

Small circular carbon crusts form at each treatment point, which slough away after a few days but may take up to a week to completely clear. After care balms expedite healing, and minimise infection risk. Once the skin has healed your client will be left with more youthful, radiant skin.

How long do results last?

After the treatment your skin will continue to produce new collagen, so your results will continue to improve for 12+ weeks.

Results are so long lasting, that they are considered to be permanent!

Some people may benefit from a second treatment depending on your goals and skin response – but this vaires from person to person.

What about aftercare?

After the treatment you will have small “dots” (carbon crusts) on the skin for a few days. There may also be some minor, very manageable swelling.

Our advanced techniques and device mean that unlike any other plasma devices, your dots will be light, but still incredibly effective.

Aftercare is straight forward and simple to follow. A SPF cream, healing balm and mineral concealer can be supplied to cover the dots and compliment your treatment.
